01 The challenge
Each region and acquisition had brought its own LMS. Completion data had to be consolidated by hand for every audit, regulators had flagged incomplete records, and the group was paying for seven licences and seven sets of content with no single view of who had been trained on what. Local languages, local regulations and HR systems that did not talk to each other made a like-for-like switch impossible.
02 What we did
- Single learning platform with multi-language, multi-entity structure mapped to the group's legal and reporting hierarchy
- Content migration from all seven systems, de-duplicated and re-tagged against a common competency framework
- HR integration (joiners, movers, leavers) so assignments follow role changes automatically
- Jurisdiction-aware compliance rules — the right mandatory training assigned per country and role, with expiry and re-certification
- Automated audit reporting per regulator, plus dashboards for L&D and line managers
- Phased regional cut-over with parallel running until each region signed off
03 The results
- Seven platforms retired in favour of one
- Compliance completion rates rose to near-total across all jurisdictions
- Audit reporting produced automatically instead of by manual consolidation
- Substantial reduction in annual L&D platform and content spend
