Mobile App Development: iOS, Android & Cross-Platform

Native and cross-platform mobile apps from idea to App Store: Flutter, Swift and Kotlin, driver and field-service apps, customer apps, games. Fixed-price scopes, 20+ years.

Apps that get used every day — by customers, drivers, field staff and patients.

NHZ Global builds mobile apps for iOS and Android, from customer-facing apps and mobile shops to the field and driver apps that run council transport, deliveries and inspections. We handle the whole journey: idea, UX design, development, App Store and Google Play submission, and the back-end and admin systems the app talks to. Our apps run public services — the Sendtra Driver app is on Google Play for council transport teams — as well as retail, hospitality and healthcare.

What we build

  • Customer apps — accounts, bookings, loyalty, payments and push notifications
  • Field and driver apps — manifests, pick-ups and drop-offs, proof of delivery, photos, forms and offline working
  • Mobile commerce — shopping apps sharing your store's catalogue and checkout
  • Patient and citizen apps — appointments, prescriptions, reporting and secure messaging
  • Kiosk and locked-down device apps for self-service, wayfinding and council fleets (see device management)
  • 2D and 3D games and immersive experiences for engagement campaigns
  • Back-end, APIs and admin panels so the app is a product, not a prototype

Native or cross-platform?

Flutter gives one codebase for iOS and Android with near-native performance and is our default for most business apps. Swift and Kotlin native builds make sense when you need deep hardware access, the very best animation or platform-specific features. We advise which is right in discovery and price both if it is a close call.

How a project runs

  1. Discovery and UX — user journeys, wireframes and a clickable prototype you can test with real users
  2. Build in sprints with TestFlight and internal-testing builds every two weeks
  3. Back end and integrations — your ERP, booking system, payment gateway or CRM
  4. Store submission — listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and review handling
  5. Post-launch — crash monitoring, OS updates and a roadmap retainer

Frequently asked questions

Do you publish the app under our account or yours?

Yours. We set up your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts (or use existing ones) so you own the listing, reviews and revenue.

Will the app work without signal?

Where it matters — driver, inspection and field apps — yes. We design offline-first with sync when connection returns.

Can the app connect to our existing systems?

Yes. We build the APIs and integrations to your ERP, CRM, booking or EPOS system as part of the project.

How long does App Store approval take?

Typically one to three days once submitted; we prepare the privacy declarations and handle any review questions.

Do you offer fixed prices?

Yes, itemised by phase after discovery. Ongoing maintenance is a simple monthly retainer.

Sendtra: home-to-school transport management and a driver app for a UK local council

Councils run hundreds of daily home-to-school journeys for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
