Template engine replacing dozens of spreadsheets
Each audit used a large template — hundreds of standards grouped into sections, each with its own weighting — maintained in Excel. Consolidating results, producing client reports and comparing hotels across a group took days of manual work, and every template change risked breaking the scoring. The consultancy needed a system its auditors could use on site and its clients could log into.
