Stores built to sell — and to be run by your team, not your developer.
NHZ Global designs, builds, migrates and supports e-commerce stores for retailers, wholesalers and brands in the USA and UK. We work on Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento (Adobe Commerce) where they fit, and build custom or headless storefronts where the buying journey is your advantage. Every project is quoted as a fixed, itemised price — design, build, integrations, migration and support listed separately — so you can see exactly where the money goes.
What we build
- Shopify and Shopify Plus stores — custom themes, apps and checkout extensions for D2C brands
- WooCommerce stores — WordPress-based shops with bespoke themes, product configurators and content marketing built in
- Magento / Adobe Commerce — large catalogues, multi-store, multi-currency and B2B pricing
- Custom and headless e-commerce — React/Next.js storefronts on your own or a headless commerce back end when platforms get in the way
- B2B and trade portals — customer-specific pricing, quotes, credit terms, approval workflows and repeat ordering
- Marketplaces — multi-vendor platforms with seller onboarding, commissions and payouts
- Mobile shopping apps — native iOS and Android apps sharing the store's catalogue and checkout
Integrations that make a store work
A shop is only as good as what it connects to. We integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Apple and Google Pay), accounting (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage), couriers and shipping (Royal Mail, DPD, UPS, FedEx, ShipStation), ERP, warehouse and EPOS systems, marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Meta and Google feeds) and product-information systems. Where a maintained connector exists we use it; where it doesn't, we build one you own.
Migration without losing your rankings
Replatforming is where sales get lost. We map every old URL to its new home, migrate products, customers and order history, set up redirects and structured data before launch, and monitor search traffic afterwards. Our e-commerce cost guide explains why skipping this step is the most common cause of a post-launch sales drop.
Indicative costs (USD, GBP in brackets)

Performance and peak trading
We build for the campaign weekend, not the quiet Tuesday: edge caching, image optimisation, checkout hardening and load testing at multiples of your previous peak. See how we re-engineered a legacy retail platform for ten times the peak traffic and halved a retailer's cloud bill ahead of Black Friday.
After launch
Hosting, backups, security updates, platform upgrades and a monthly pot for conversion improvements — a sensible retainer is $390–$2,000 (£300–£1,500) a month for platform stores. Stores that improve every month outperform stores that launched perfectly and stood still.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an e-commerce website take to build?
A template store: 2–4 weeks. A customised platform store: 8–14 weeks. A custom or headless build: 3–6 months, usually phased.
Shopify or Magento?
Shopify is faster and cheaper to launch and excellent for D2C brands; Magento suits large catalogues, multi-store and B2B. Above roughly $0 (£1)m a year online the comparison is worth doing properly, and we'll do it with you.
Do I need a mobile app as well as a website?
Usually not at first. Make sure the web store is fast and easy on mobile, then consider an app once you have repeat customers who benefit from push notifications and one-tap reordering.
Can you migrate my existing store without losing Google rankings?
Yes, provided URL mapping and redirects are planned before launch. We treat this as a core part of every migration.
Can the store connect to my ERP or warehouse system?
Yes. ERP, WMS and EPOS integration is standard work for us — stock, prices and orders sync automatically so your team never re-keys.
Do you offer fixed prices?
Always. Every proposal is a fixed, itemised price; time-and-materials builds without a clear scope are how $26,000 (£20k) projects become $58,500 (£45k) projects.
