Software that works the way your business works — not the other way round.
Off-the-shelf ERP and CRM packages make you fit their workflow and charge per user forever. NHZ Global builds enterprise software around the way your company actually operates: orders, stock, jobs, quotes, customers, suppliers, HR and reporting in one system you own outright. We have been doing this for 20 years for trading companies, manufacturers, councils, hotels and service businesses in the UK, USA and the Gulf, and we deliver on fixed-price scopes with a UK support contract afterwards.
What we build
- ERP systems — orders, purchasing, inventory, production or job management, dispatch and finance integration for SMEs that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools
- CRM platforms — leads, pipeline, quotations, follow-ups and management dashboards built for your sales process, including bilingual English/Arabic deployments
- HR and workforce systems (HRM) — records, leave, rotas, timesheets, onboarding and compliance training tracking
- Supply chain and warehouse (SCM/WMS) — goods in, stock locations, barcode scanning, replenishment and supplier portals
- Document management (DMS) — versioned documents, approval workflows, retention and audit trails
- Customer and supplier portals — self-service ordering, statements, tickets and document exchange on top of your core system
- Integrations — Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, EPOS, couriers, e-commerce stores, payment gateways and legacy databases
Custom or off-the-shelf? An honest view
A package is the right answer when your processes are standard, you need to go live in weeks and you are happy to adopt the vendor's workflow. Custom wins when your process is your advantage, when per-user licences for 30–50+ staff are becoming painful, when you need deep integration with your own systems, or when you have already spent more customising a package than a build would have cost. We tell clients which side of that line they are on in the first meeting — and if a package fits better, we say so. Our guide to custom ERP vs off-the-shelf ERP sets out the costs and trade-offs in detail.
How we deliver
- Discovery (1–2 weeks, fixed price) — we map your workflows, data and integrations and produce a phased plan with firm costs. You can take that plan anywhere; most clients continue with us.
- Phase one in 10–16 weeks — the core operational module (usually orders, stock and the main workflow) goes live first so value arrives early.
- Further modules every 4–8 weeks — finance integration, HR, portals and analytics added as the business is ready, each shaped by real use of the last.
- Handover you actually own — source code, documentation, hosting accounts and data are yours, written into the contract.
- Support — UK helpdesk, monthly retainer or pay-as-you-go, with the same engineers who built the system.
Technology
We choose the stack for the job rather than the fashion: PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter), .NET, Node.js and Python on the back end; React, Angular and Vue on the front; MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server; hosted on AWS, Azure or UK servers we manage. Mobile companion apps in Flutter, Swift and Kotlin. Everything version-controlled, tested and deployable by any competent team — no lock-in to us.
Indicative costs (USD, GBP in brackets)
| Engagement | Typical range | Timeline |
| Discovery and phased plan | $3,500–$8,000 (£2,500–£6,000) | 1–2 weeks |
| Custom CRM for a sales team | $19,500–$52,000 (£15,000–£40,000) | 8–12 weeks |
| Core ERP (orders, stock, operations, finance integration) | $32,500–$155,000+ (£25,000–£120,000+) | 10–16 weeks for phase one |
| Hosting and support | $200–$780 (£150–£600) per month | Ongoing |
Compared with a mid-market cloud ERP at $80–$200 (£60–£150) per user per month, a custom build for 40 users typically costs less over three years and flattens out after year one.

A custom CRM for a Qatar trading company, hosted and supported monthly; a hotel quality-audit and benchmarking platform; one learning platform replacing seven for a multinational; and more case studies across councils, healthcare and retail.
Frequently asked questions
Can a custom ERP integrate with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage?
Yes. Accounting integration is one of the most common requirements and all three have mature APIs. Most clients keep their accountant's preferred package and let the custom system feed it invoices, bills and payments automatically.
Is custom software only for large companies?
No. Businesses with 10–50 staff and a distinctive process are often the best fit, because packages are priced for the mid-market and rarely bend to smaller firms' workflows.
What happens if NHZ Global disappears?
You own the source code, documentation and hosting accounts, so any competent PHP, .NET or Node.js team can maintain the system. That ownership is written into our contracts.
Can we start small and grow?
That is the route we recommend: build the core operational module first, prove it, then add finance, HR, portals and analytics as the business needs them.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
Yes. We have offices in Slough (UK) and San Jose (USA) and long-standing clients in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf, including bilingual English/Arabic systems.
How do you price a project?
A short fixed-price discovery produces a phased plan with firm costs per phase. You commit one phase at a time; there are no open-ended time-and-materials surprises.
