Custom Web Application Development

Data-driven web applications, customer portals, SaaS platforms and APIs built in React, Angular, Node.js, PHP and .NET on AWS or Azure. Fixed-price scopes, USA & UK teams.

Portals, platforms and internal tools that replace the spreadsheets and email chains your business runs on.

NHZ Global designs and builds custom web applications for businesses, councils and public bodies in the UK, USA and the Gulf: customer and supplier portals, booking and quoting platforms, SaaS products, dashboards and the APIs that tie them together. We have been building on the web for over 20 years, and we scope every project as a fixed price with phased delivery so you see working software early and commit one phase at a time.

What we build

  • Customer, supplier and member portals — self-service accounts, orders, documents, tickets and statements on top of your existing systems
  • Booking, quoting and configuration platforms — multi-step journeys with live pricing, availability and payment
  • SaaS products — multi-tenant platforms with onboarding, billing, roles and usage metering
  • Internal tools and dashboards — the operational apps your team uses every day, connected to live data
  • Content-managed sites and CMS builds — WordPress, custom CMS or headless, with SEO built in
  • APIs and integrations — REST and GraphQL services connecting web, mobile, ERP, EPOS and third parties
  • GIS and mapping applications — layered maps, points of interest, search and routing, as delivered for Qatari GIS

Technology we use

Front end in React, Next.js, Angular or Vue; back end in Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Python or .NET Core; PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server; hosted on AWS, Azure or UK servers we manage, with CI/CD, automated tests and monitoring from day one. We pick the stack for the job and the team who will maintain it — never for fashion — and everything we build can be run by any competent engineering team without us.

How a project runs

  1. Discovery and wireframes — user journeys, data model, integrations and a phased plan with fixed costs
  2. Design — clickable prototypes signed off before build
  3. Build in sprints — working software every two weeks on a staging site you can use
  4. Launch — performance and security testing, data migration, go-live plan
  5. Support and growth — UK helpdesk and a monthly improvement retainer if you want one

Frequently asked questions

Do you build on WordPress or custom code?

Both. For content-led sites WordPress is often the right tool; for anything with accounts, workflows, payments or integrations we build custom, because it is cheaper to maintain and far more secure at scale.

Will we own the code?

Yes. Source code, documentation and hosting accounts are handed over and written into the contract.

Can you take over an application another agency built?

Yes. We start with a code and infrastructure review, fix what is urgent and give you an honest view on whether to keep building or replace it.

How do you handle security?

Secure development practices, dependency scanning, penetration-test readiness and GDPR-compliant data handling are standard; see our data security services.

Do you offer fixed prices?

Always — itemised by phase after a short discovery. You commit one phase at a time.

Sendtra: home-to-school transport management and a driver app for a UK local council

Councils run hundreds of daily home-to-school journeys for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Sendtra gives the transport office one place to plan routes, allocate drivers and passenger assistants, and see every journey happening — with a driver app that replaces paper run sheets.
